Beth Neff moves into the livable area of the building (what will become the performance space) on April 10, 2018, while planting the first garden of MARSH, in a labyrinth design using biocultural and permacultural principles. Beth hauls compost/soil from St. Louis composting and chips from the park, builds a box, lays out the garden, and plants corn, melons, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce (in the box), kale, swiss chard, okra, and other vegetables and fruits from starts and from seed.
